"NDE: a collection of testimonies" is a documentary made by Lara Peviani on the theme of NDEs ("Near Death Experiences"). It contains interviews conducted in various parts of Italy to direct or indirect witnesses of these experiences on the border between life and death. The documentary aims to be an introduction to these interesting phenomena of which most people have a very superficial knowledge and which are often relegated in the common opinion to the mystical or magical. It is instead a subject that has interested philosophers, theologians, psychoanalysts over the centuries and still offers a starting point for heated debate among scientists, especially with regard to consciousness and its possible survival beyond the death of the physical body.
