🎣 Grass Catfish Fishing with Frogs – Is It Really Worth It? | Russian Fishing 4 In this video, I'm testing a rather unusual method: fishing for grass catfish with a frog as bait. 🐸 Does it really work? And more importantly – is it worth the effort? I'm out on the Tunguska River in the evening, trying it out right there at the spot. No major preparation – just into the water and testing, testing, testing. Exactly the way it should be done. 👉 What you can expect in the video: Testing with a frog as bait for grass catfish Fishing at a distance of approximately 20 meters with a line clip Using a live bait rig Comparison: Which fish are actually biting? Analysis of bite frequency in the evening and at night Tips on alternative baits such as earthworms and pieces of fish Insight into the setup with 27 kg fluorocarbon and 4/0 hooks Adjusting the lead weights (e.g., 70 g) for better bite detection 💡 Particularly exciting: After less than 10 minutes at the spot, over 160 silver fish are caught – and at a really good frequency! Of course, other fish such as burbot or char also take the bait, but the target remains clear: grass catfish.
