The filming took place on April 23, 2026, the day before Mr.'s solo exhibition opened at the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum. This episode features Mr., an artist from Kaikai Kiki, and his first solo exhibition in Japan, "We'll Surely Meet Again on a Sunny Day Someday." We tour the exhibition with Mr. himself, along with his comrades from the Hiropon Factory days 25 years ago—Yoshiyuki Mashita (currently in the New Japan Pro-Wrestling PR department) and Mr. Morioka (currently in the real estate business)—and Mr. himself explains each artwork. We were amazed to learn about Mr.'s painting style, including his use of Timee to handle peripheral tasks (waiting for silkscreen printing to finish, washing, and pressing). This is a gritty, realistic glimpse into the art world, something you won't find in the stylish art school manga "Blue Period." The exhibition space packages Mr.'s 30 years of work into one, from his entrance exam paintings during his preparatory school days to his latest large-scale paintings, a garbage pile installation, and even past films and NFT projects.
