The P2020s (The Final Weeks)

A tribute to the Nippon Sharyo P2020, which is sadly no longer in Metro's rail fleet due to problems with space after the last batch of P3010s arrived, and the agency’s use of politics against it. As the days for these beautiful trains have declined over time, I had many chances to catch them before they were decommissioned and transferred to the Green Line. There will be P865 100 with its 1989-90 era livery, the Union Pacific scene at Florence station, P2000s, ride-along clips, and horn scenes. The P2020 retirement lasted from January 2021 to April 2021 and would later get scrapped throughout the spring and the summer. This would be the last time I'll railfan on Metro in response to retirement, and I'll be concentrating more on life than just trains. At the end of the day, we foamers always say, “Metro never fails to both disappoint and poopy-di-scoop.” This tribute video took a lot of effort and storage space to produce and upload, so please be respectful when you comment. In any case, enjoy these last moments of these trains as they depart for good. Once again, sorry for the long-awaited delays in uploading. ~Updates~ Edit(s): In April 2023, the Western Railway Museum (from Suisun City, CA) preserved P2020 no. 164, and in May 2024 the car began service at the museum. To date, there's no information on what happened to P865 100 regarding its preservation. ~Credits~ Footages: Metro Sheep Productions Bryan Metro Fans Productions Elevation Station Productions Flat Train Photos: Metro Library & Archives Pacific Electric Railway Archives Music: Gymnopedie 1 - Erik Satie (covered by Jacob’s Piano) Time After Time - Cyndi Lauper (funeral piano music) ~Social Media Links~ Twitter -   / _rleon1114   Instagram -   / rodrigoleon_ortiz   Tiktok - https://www.tiktok.com/@rodrigoleon_o...
