Marie Friederike Schöder had this experience during her severe vocal crisis, coinciding with her first pregnancy, and she talks about it. Unfortunately, bullying and dismissal of pregnant women or mothers is still commonplace – even in the opera world. It's illegal! She wants to break this taboo, educate, and encourage singers to fight back, but above all, encourage them not to be afraid of being a mother as a singer.
