Buyer's Guide - Smart Fortwo 451 Pure, Pulse & Passion Models 2007-2014

In this video I talk about the second generation Smart Fortwo, the 451 model that ran from 2007 - 2014. I give background information on these cars, state some differences between these and the Fortwo/City Coupe 450 models and explain what can go wrong. I cover the petrol/gasoline models including the Pure, Pulse and Passion but not the diesel, special editions or the Brabus models. If in doubt - obtain a professional vehicle inspection and always carry out a vehicle check to ensure it has a clean history and no outstanding finance. I cover bodywork, Tridion, engines, 1.0 MHD (Micro Hybrid Drive) and 84 BHP Turbo models. I briefly mention the 54 BHP diesel.
