Delving Deeper Into Front Body Structure & Fixing Alignment Issues - 2008 Smart Fortwo Pure 451

In this YouTube video from Auto Knight, I clean and dismantle the front body panels on my 2008 Smart Fortwo 451 Pure and replace the o/s/f right front wing / fender which had sustained body damage and been poorly repaired with filler. I examine the vehicle's structure beneath and discover that a collapsible crash / impact cone had partially collapsed. This had not been replaced / rectified and instead a headlamp had been mounted with washers to bring it forward to compensate for the misalignment. I sourced a replacement component from eBay and partially removed the front panel / slam panel in order to swap this over. I thoroughly clean and jet wash the front of the vehicle and the sills, usually covered by the side skirts / sill trims - these were also cleaned with the Karcher. The Front of the vehicle is reassembled and alignment is now correct.
