Walking Point in the Bloody Vietnam War | Marine Veteran Interview
Dale Pappas joined the Marine Corps in 1965 and deployed to Vietnam as an automatic rifleman with Hotel 2/5. Pappas was part of the battalions initial landing in Southeast Asia, swarming ashore near Chu Lai in early 1966. During his year long tour, he participated in 13 major engagements, including Operation Tuscaloosa, widely considered to be the battalion’s high-water mark in Vietnam, before returning to the United States in 1967. 🌎 Support the channel by pre-ordering my book: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1250429935?... 🎤 Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast... 📸 Get behind the scenes content on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thevietname...
