This Southern cinema superstar is one of a kind. His team Ajith Kumar Racing by Bas Koeten secured third place in the 991 category, while he also got the Spirit of the Race recognition in the GT4 category in Dubai. As a racer and owner of Ajith Kumar Racing, he spoke to me right after his win and as he unfurled the tricolor with aplomb, pride and humility. He thanked each and every member of his team and family and got emotional as he spoke of their constant support. His huge popularity on and off the racing track and intense humility makes him a man to respect and admire. That he carries fame lightly is one among his many attributes.
