In this video we are discussing about the national parks of Assam. We are trying to summarise the all possible topics for the competitive exams. Assam is home to some of India’s most famous national parks, known for their rich biodiversity and unique ecosystems. The state has eight national parks – Kaziranga, Manas, Nameri, Orang, Dibru-Saikhowa, Raimona, Dehing Patkai and Shikna Jwhwlao. Among them, Kaziranga is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for the one-horned rhinoceros, while Manas is a Project Tiger reserve and a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site. These parks protect rare wildlife such as tigers, elephants, golden langurs, wild water buffalo, and numerous migratory birds, making Assam a vital hotspot for conservation and eco-tourism in Northeast India.
