Otis Gen3 MRL Traction Elevator @ Home Court at the Obama Presidential Center, Chicago, IL
This is easily one of the quietest elevators I've ever ridden; with no fan and no chimes, all you can hear is the smooth buzzing of the Gen3's motor. This brand-new Otis lift is incredibly smooth, and has a snazzy modern stainless steel cab. It's not quite as interesting as the custom Otis products in the rest of the complex, but Otis still did a very nice job with this one. This is the rear elevator in the building; the one near the main entrance is basically identical, but a bit smaller. Installed: 2024-25
