40KM Final Long Run | 3 Weeks to Boston Marathon
3 weeks out from the Boston Marathon. This is the final 40km long run. Starting with a downhill from Waterfall Gully, passing The RunHôuse, then rolling through the undulating paths along the Torrens before finishing with the climb back up Waterfall Gully Road. A proper marathon long run. 40km on tired legs in a 190km week, alongside two gym sessions. Staying controlled, locking into rhythm, and checking in every 5km to monitor pace and heart rate. These are the sessions that matter most. Learning to stay composed deep into the run and building confidence heading into race day! Boston is getting close...
