Low-Impact Workout with Weights: Compound Exercises

This low-impact workout with medium weights uses compound exercises. You'll do a three-part sequence on the right then left. Another three-part sequence on the right then left. And then you put the two together doing the six-part sequence on the right then left. Rest time after each sequence is 30 seconds. I guide you through the whole thing so don't worry if that sounds confusing! EQUIPMENT NEEDED —Set of medium-light weights (I'm using 8lbs) WORKOUT BREAKDOWN See 1:49 for a preview of the exercises. Sequence 1 (30 sec) Biceps Circle Curls (60 sec) Lunge Curl to Press (30 sec) Low Lunge Curl Step Sequence 2 (60) Curtsy to Squat Press (30) Pivoting Low Lunges (30) Shoulder Press Wide - Narrow Sequence 1+2 As with all workouts, make sure to warm up beforehand.
