Is It Possible to Run a 2:39 Marathon at 47 | Chicago Ep 01
When do you get too old to get faster? That's the question I ask myself but also ignore. I still believe, at 47, my fastest marathons are ahead of me. I have Chicago in October 2026 and it will be a 2:39 attempt. Can I do it? Possibly. Will I give absolutely everything? Definitely. And we have the added bonus of Mary training for her first Sub 3 AND Top 10 in the UK in her Age Group. This will be a training block for the ages.
