Tight Hips? 5 Exercises to Move Better and Protect Your Back at Home (Over 40)

Tight hips? They're not just uncomfortable — tight, stiff hips are very often what's quietly making your back, knees and posture worse. In this video I share 5 exercises to free up your hips AND build the strength to keep them that way, at home, so your lower back doesn't pay the price. I've got two dehydrated discs in my lower back, and hip mobility is one of the biggest things that lets me keep training hard despite it. This is a lot of what I actually do. Every exercise here can be scaled to where you're starting from. ⚠️ This is general education, not medical advice. Work in a pain-free range and see a professional for sharp, pinching or radiating pain. ⏱️ Timestamps 0:00 Why your tight hips matter more than you think 0:29 Why stretching alone never lasts 2:28 Exercise 1 — 90/90 Hip Switch 4:10 Exercise 2 -- Couch Stretch 6:12 Exercise 3 -- Glute Bridge 8:58 Exercise 4 -- Cossack Squat 10:46 Exercise 5 -- Squat Hold 11:58 How to put it together 14:20 Watch this next 🏋️ FREE Starter Guide — your first 2 weeks of strength at home: https://afscrossfit.aweb.page/strengt... 💪 Rebuilding after injury and want a proper plan?
