Keep your spine straight Tell the monkey mind your only job is to focus on my breath. Begin to breath in through the nose for 3 seconds, hold for 3 seconds, then release through slightly parted lips for 3 seconds, 3 times. Then slow the breath down. Breath in through the nose for 5 seconds, hold for 5 seconds, then release through slightly parted lips for 5 seconds, 3 times. Then slow the breath down even more Breath in through the nose for 7 seconds, hold for 7 seconds, then release through slightly parted lips for 7 seconds, 3 times. Then you can continue the breath that way for as long as you choose.
