Dallas Bike Ride, 2026: Dallas, Texas.

The Dallas Bike Ride brings thousands of cyclists together for one of the largest car-free cycling events in North Texas. Starting and finishing at Dallas City Hall, this 20 mile social ride takes riders through some of Dallas’ most recognizable neighborhoods and landmarks, including Downtown Dallas, Uptown, the Design District, West Dallas, Oak Cliff, and the Bishop Arts District. Riders also cross the Trinity River multiple times while enjoying rare access to closed city streets normally filled with traffic. This ride is a notable departure for me as I usually ride under large trees, but this ride I exchanged trees for huge buildings. It was an amazing experience! The Dallas Bike Ride is designed as a family-friendly community experience where cyclists of all ages and skill levels can ride at their own pace. The event features live entertainment, rest stops with snacks and drinks, photo opportunities, and a large finish festival with music, food trucks, and community activities. Organizers expect roughly 5,000 riders to participate in 2026, the year of this video. Originally launched as a major open-streets cycling celebration, the ride highlights Dallas’ growing bicycle culture and expanding urban trail connections. For visitors and locals alike, the event offers a unique opportunity to experience the city from street level without vehicle traffic while capturing incredible skyline, bridge, and neighborhood views throughout the route.
