Coniston Hall Campsite Turned Into an Unexpected Adventure 😅

Join me on my first ever campervan adventure in the Lake District National Park, UK, where off-grid wild camping, iconic museums, lakeside camping, and a first-time paddleboarding experience come together for the ultimate road trip escape. We kick things off by parking up off-grid near Preston, a peaceful riverside spot popular with dog walkers and anglers. It’s the perfect reset before hitting the road deeper into the Lakes. Next stop is the incredible Lakeland Motor Museum, home to an impressive collection of classic cars, motorbikes, and the famous Blue Bird Campbell display cars. A must-visit for any motorsport or vintage vehicle fan. From there, we head to Coniston Hall Campsite, beautifully located right on the shores of Coniston Water. After setting up camp, I take on my very first paddleboarding session using an inflatable SUP — plenty of falls, a few laughs, and eventually… success! Huge thanks to the helping hand that got me standing up and paddling. To finish the trip, we head over to Redcar Beach, one of Sam’s favourite spots for fossil hunting and foraging.
