Tips on color correction, focus points, light and shadow positioning, effects that create a more realistic atmosphere for your edit. A photo montage begins long before you open Photoshop. Knowing what you're going to produce and finding/producing the right images to start manipulating are two fundamental steps. In the example in this tutorial, notice that even though the photos have different colors, contrasts, and lighting levels, the direction and the sun in all of them are close to each other. This facilitates a more realistic combination of the scene after applying all the effects you'll see in the next video here on the Photoshop for Beginners channel.
