As we have witnessed through the History of Automotive, some Cars transcend their ordinary status to become more than just bare metal and rubber. That's what happened with the Ford Mustang, a true symbol of a bygone era, a time when Muscle Cars ruled the roads and drivers could push the boundaries of what was possible. This 1970 Mustang Fastback Race Car driven by Angus Fogg has been refined and turned into a force to be reckoned with. This car has quickly become a crowd's favorite, not just for the sleek lines and unmistakable Black & Gold livery, also for the addictive sound when thundering down the main straight. At the heart of the beast there's a modified 358 cubic inches Roush-Yates engine pushing out over 800hp and revving to 8000rpm, equipped with a Ram Air-Intake, Dry sump lubrication system, Alloy radiator and oil cooler and matched to a manual G-Force gearbox. Sitting proud on Penske 3 way damper suspensions, racing control arms, sway bars and a floating 9" rear diff, while the huge AP racing disk brakes and Simmons Wheels complete the picture. At the back there's a dedicated fuel cell together with the dry sump oil reservoir. Inside the cockpit it's real racecar material with racing seats, chromoly rollcage, pedals module and the recessed driving position for an optimal weight distribution. That's what makes this Fastback a ruthless corner slaying machine, nimble and carefully balanced to return great driving feel and to impress even the most demanding audiences.
