This is my truth and what I have experienced online , mental health is something we sometimes overlook BUT I have decided to CHOOSE ME. I am ready to share my journey without the dark light of the #30dayhairdetox, #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #nooilsnobutter #curlycut. I have cut my hair and I have a new head of hair without the effects of that method. I have chosen to move on, life is too short. I hope everyone who had a negative experience can find peace and move on in their own time. I am on a journey of regrowing my hair without using longterm protective styles, just weekly shampoo, condition and styling. I have done it before successfully , so here I am sharing my journey as I regrow my hair. MY STORY : I was one on the unfortunate individuals to receive damage from curly cuts and BGC damage. Other names for the method are the #30dayhairdetox, 30 day hair detox, no oils no butter this was a routine formulated by Black girl curls. so over the past year I have been going though this journey of trying to grow my hair back by slowing cutting the damage off little by little however it has not been successful.
