Today we'll visit the outdoor exhibition at the Polish Army Museum in Warsaw. The exhibition is open daily, and admission is free. We'll write a separate episode about the entire museum (and its interiors) someday, but today you'll see incredibly interesting and unique exhibits from World War II. First and foremost, the 800mm shell for the largest gun in human history, the "Schwerer Gustav"—another of Adolf's crazy (and absurd) ideas. Also on display is a 600mm shell from the "Karl" mortar, so infamously "infamous" during the Warsaw Uprising. You'll also see the infamous "Szafä," a German "Nebelwehrfer" rocket launcher, and an original 152mm Bofors gun that prevented the Kriegsmarine from landing on Hel in September 1939.
