A judge in Lubbock granted an injunction allowing him to play. The NCAA appealed and won. Sorsby then turned to the NFL supplemental draft as a potential path forward. Allowing someone with Sorsby's record to bypass that process would undermine the message it has repeatedly sent to players. Jeffrey Kessler's Argument Sorsby's attorney, Jeffrey Kessler, quickly argued that the NFL's decision violated both the collective bargaining agreement and the law. Trey disagrees.
