THERE WAS ONLY TWO LESSONS LAST WEEK (MAY 19-22). THUS THE SERIES CONTINUES . Foundational Principle: “There is a season that people rarely know how to express or describe. It’s not a crisis, it’s not a celebration, it’s not warfare. It’s not breakthrough it’s simply nothing visible. And while some seasons are introduced and marked by thunder, some seasons are marked by the absence of movement and this is what we must learn to adapt to. Today’s Scripture: Mark 4:26-29 … “And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; and should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.” Lesson: WHAT GROWS IN UNSEEN SEASONS: “The Invisible Work of Uneventful Days” Points: When there’s nothing to be seen—exploring the uncomfortable territory of silence, stillness, and suspended movement” Not all growth is dramatic, as some of the deepest transformations happen quietly. As our text suggests: roots grow underground before fruit appears publicly when there’s nothing to be seen, and nothing seems to be happening. 1.. Because God develops roots before fruit, invisible seasons are seasons that build strength…….(vs. 26-27) “And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; and should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how…….” There are some things that cannot be built or developed in chaos, such as trust, intimacy, clarity, consistency, spiritual sensitivity, healthy communication, discernment, unity, and lasting vision—because everything meaningful requires some measure of order, stability, and peace to properly grow. Invisible seasons often strengthen: endurance, emotional stability, discernment, patience and self-awareness. 2.. Boredom can become a classroom if you let it ..(vs. 27c-28a) “..he knoweth not how. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself” Quiet seasons expose internal conditions because: —Silence removes distractions and reveals what noise often covers —Stillness tests what has been truly developed internally When life slows down unresolved thoughts surface, wounds become visible, habits become noticeable, and God reveals what noise once concealed. 3.. Uneventful days are preparing you for sustainable futures. (vs. 28-29)..“… For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come. God often hides growth in monotony so that success will not destroy us later. The greatest danger is not that nothing is happening around you; the greatest danger is failing to recognize what is happening within you while nothing appears to be happening at all.” Can you remain present in your faith in the blank spaces and seasons of your life?
