Some adventures are measured in miles. Others are measured in campfires, conversations, and the people you share them with. Over Memorial Day weekend, five friends set out to explore the Pennsylvania Wilds BDR-X. For Steve and Shawn, it was their very first Backcountry Discovery Route. For us, it was a chance to revisit one of our favorite loops and experience it through fresh eyes. From quiet mornings around the campfire and unforgettable local cafés to scenic forest roads, unexpected rain, and plenty of laughs along the way, this trip reminded us that you don't have to complete every mile for an adventure to be worth remembering.
