Introducing the Kunkel Megaphonic Resonator Banjo.
I’ve been developing this banjo for the past few years and the prototype has now come to fruition. It is inspired by the Weymann Megaphonic Banjos of the 1920’s but has many innovative new features. This banjo weighs in at 6 1/2 pounds and has a pop-off resonator that converts it to an open back in seconds. The neck attachment system is so simple that the neck can be removed in a few minutes with minimum tools. Thanks for watching!
