Roy Clark - Flint Hill Special (1954)
In this 1954 clip from the "Town and Country Time" television series, Jimmy Dean introduces 21-year-old Roy Clark to play Earl Scruggs' banjo showpiece, "Flint Hill Special". This footage, predating the earliest-known film of Scruggs by two years, is one of the earliest films to surface of three-finger "blue grass-style" banjo.
