Just a quick twist at this great reel, that I remember playing with the late Charlie Harris. And it has plenty of connection to Galway having been a favourite of players like Paddy Carty and Joe Burke. Belfast is mopping up here today after brutal racist violence, but life and music will go on and resist the old hatred. just to point out the obvious: when we indulge ideologies that have us hate on our fellow human beings we are polluting our minds with filth. Irish music, the music of the displaced and dispossessed and its generous community, is so much better than that.
