The historic town of Billerbeck has a well-positioned RV park located directly next to the outdoor pool, boasting excellent infrastructure. 11 parceled pitches await campers. The water and waste disposal systems are well-maintained and work flawlessly. Each pitch has an electrical hookup, and during our visit, the site was very clean and well-maintained. It was also very quiet at night, and in about 1 km, you can reach the historic town center and the elegant cathedral. Directly opposite the pitch is the Berkel River, flowing unchanging and untouched along its natural riverbed. Dog walks are a delight here. A discount store and a bakery are about 500 meters away. Numerous other restaurants and shops can be found in the town center. The town has an excellent network of cycle paths and hiking trails. When the outdoor pool is open, it can be used during opening hours, as can the restroom facilities, and are included in the pitch fee. The pool kiosk offers delicious food. When the swimming pool is closed (season runs from May to about mid-September), this lovely spot is even free for us RVers. Perfect! We enjoyed our time here and would love to come back.
