This week the Wayfaring Warbler lives up to her name — trading Essex County for the White Mountains of New Hampshire and over the border into Maine. Four lifers, two states, and some of the most exciting birding of the year. The main mission: Bicknell's Thrush on Mount Washington, one of the most sought-after breeding birds in the northeast and a species with a razor-thin range.
