Lilac season continues on with their delicate fragrance perfuming the spring air here in the midwest. The alliums in my garden greet me each day with their cheery royal purple hue, along with some gorgeous new magenta and crimson dahlias that I have planted. Come along with me to do some seasonal baking as I harvest the lilac in my garden to create a lilac infused sugar and a lilac lemon blueberry pound cake drizzled with lilac glaze. With so many gorgeous things in bloom, I also felt inspired to create a whimsical floral arrangement with lilac, alliums and dahlias.
