Videos filmed around Thirlmere for the annual Festival of Steam, featuring 3001 and 3265 as double header formation on the Buxton shuttles throughout the day and 3526 the “Nanny” solo on the Picton shuttles, assisted by vintage diesels 4916 and 4306 respectively. The 2026 Festival of Steam features a triple header as part of the festival after dark event, and a firework show taking place at Thirlmere oval to finish off the night.
