Radar has produced several episodes about Global Marketing Bridge (GMB), the company that aggressively sold energy contracts. Investigations into GMB are underway, and the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) has received numerous complaints. The results? GMB's owner has launched his own energy company under the names Hollandse Energie Maatschappij (HEM), HollandsEnergie, and HollandsStroom. Radar, along with investigative platform Follow the Money, delves into the paperwork and identifies victims. The owners receive generous salaries and expensive lease cars. New customers are primarily offered fixed five-year contracts with variable rates (!) and energy contracts that cannot be canceled.
