MPC Knight Rider model kit history/comparison

My next project will involve building a model of the Knight Industries 2000 (KITT) from the 1980s television show "Knight Rider". But before I embark on that project, I felt it was a good idea to shoot this video discussing the kit history. Reason being is not all Knight Rider kits are the same and it will take a little effort to convert a recent Round 2/MPC kit into an accurate replica due to changes made to the molds over the years. This video talks about the original MPC, MPC/Ertl, AMT/Ertl and Round 2/MPC versions of the kit. I also briefly discuss the Aoshima Knight Rider kits and introduce my project, which will involve converting an AMT/Ertl 1990 Firebird GTA into KITT with leftover parts from two Knight Rider models I've had since I was a kid.
