Polar Lights 1/350 Classic Star Trek Enterprise model project Part 8

In this series of videos, I document the construction of the brand new Polar Lights 1/350 scale model kit of the classic starship USS Enterprise NCC-1701 from the original Star Trek television series. This model is being built as a production version of the ship with full lighting and spinning bussard collectors, using the Round 2 lighting kit. Round 2's photo etch set and the separately purchased Paragraphix etch set are also be used for this build. Other Youtubers are currently building this model as well, but I am focusing on some slightly different areas and information as this series of videos is being targeted towards newcomers to model lighting rather than being a full document of every little issue that his been found with the kit. In Part 8, things are almost complete in the five months since my last video. I discuss what I've done in addition to what caused the delay and ideas as to how to avoid my problems with your model. The Enterprise is decaled and flat coated. It only needs very minor work now before I declare it complete. In the final part, I'll discuss the installation of the bridge, the lower sensor dome and the light pastel chalk weathering I plan to do.
