An Unforgettable Journey: Landywood Children Visit Our Partner School in Amsterdam! 🇳🇱 What an incredible week our Years 5 and 6 children have just experienced! We're thrilled to share the highlights from their educational adventure to Amsterdam, where they visited our wonderful partner school, Juliana Van Stolberg (JVS), and discovered the rich culture and history of the Netherlands. Five Days of Discovery and Friendship: Our children embarked on a journey that perfectly blended education, culture, and friendship. From cycling through the charming streets of Castricum to exploring Amsterdam by train, every moment was filled with new experiences and lasting memories. The heart of this trip was the beautiful partnership between Landywood and JVS. Our children were warmly welcomed by their Dutch counterparts, touring their school and working together on collaborative projects that showcased the power of international friendship. Highlights of the Adventure: True to Dutch tradition, our children embraced the cycling lifestyle, pedaling to the coast and through scenic areas. The visit to the Anne Frank Museum in Amsterdam was undoubtedly one of the most powerful experiences, helping our children walk through history and develop deeper global awareness. Beyond the educational experiences, this trip fostered remarkable personal growth. From making their own packed lunches each morning to navigating new environments, our children demonstrated independence and maturity that made us incredibly proud.
