Unearthing a WWII German Infantry Trench Packed with Relics!

In this episode of Pines&Sand, we stumbled upon an incredible WWII German disarming pit—an infantry trench that was absolutely packed with World War 2 equipment and historical relics. While metal detecting deep in the forest, we first received a strong signal that turned out to be a legendary StG44 magazine. As we dug deeper into the hole, history truly came alive. We uncovered a German combat belt featuring a rare belt buckle, a rubberized Wehrmacht raincoat, equipment buttons, canteens, a lighter, and a Wehrmacht belt buckle. But the absolute highlight was at the very bottom of the trench, where we unearthed two German steel helmets (Stahlhelm). Watch until the very end to see the unbelievable surprise hidden inside the second helmet! This is Part 1 of a two-part series. Part 2 with the remaining finds and the final cleaning of these incredible relics will be released exactly next week!
