Professor Gianluca De Candia, born in 1983 in Molfetta, Apulia, is a German-Italian philosopher and theologian—and one of the few who don't have to choose between these two intellectual worlds because they are at home in both. He studied in Bari and Rome, and received his doctorate in Rome in 2011. He reflects on God and the "perhaps" of God—who is more than necessary. Since 2021, he has been Professor of Philosophy and Dialogue with Contemporary Culture at the Cologne University of Catholic Theology.
