In May 2020, 40 year old business owner Nick Cordova was inside his HVAC company in Gilbert, Arizona, when he was attacked while on a FaceTime call with his young children. His family heard the chaos unfold in real time. Surveillance later showed two masked people entering the building. Within minutes, Nick had been shot. The only survivor was his Nick's business partner, who said it was a robbery gone wrong. As the case developed, concerns surfaced, including inconsistencies in the timeline, financial issues tied to the business, and a large life insurance policy connected to the partners.
