Detroit & Lima Northern No.7 - Summer Steam Run 7-29-25

Information: Hello everyone! Welcome back to another video! Today we come back to Greenfield Village to see the return of No.7 back to service. After some big wheel repairs, she has returned back to service. It was cool to see her back out and running again. Futher note. Here is the information for this week. Torch Lake is now in for its boiler wash. Edison is getting some heavy wheel repairs but it’s not bad as 7s. 152 is getting ready for railfans weekend (Which im attending as always) And 1225 is gonna be hopefully back out for Christmas. Hope you enjoy this video and stay blessed! information about D&LN No.7 Manufactured in 1897 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works, Detroit and Lima Northern #7 is a 4-4-0 American type steam locomotive that was used in pulling passenger trains from Adrian to Lima during its revenue service years. It was originally owned by the Detroit and Lima Northern (D&LN) Railway. D&LN #7 would serve Ford for nearly a decade until he donated it to The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn Michigan, in 1930. It would remain on static display at the museum for several decades before 2007 when a restoration process began. The process, which took 7 years, prepared D&LN #7 to return to the tracks.
