Train Simulator Classic - À bord d’un train spécial entre Lyon et Saint-Priest

Today, we embark on a round trip between Lyon and Saint-Priest aboard a special train. This convoy, faithfully reproduced thanks to SimExpress's detailed models, is hauled by CC 6570, preserved by APCC6570, accompanied by CC 6558 from APMFS. The train is composed of Corail TER coaches, a Gril Express dining car, and CC 72064, preserved by ARCET, which will travel by vehicle to Saint-Priest before taking over for the return journey. Our journey begins at Lyon-Brotteaux station, with several stops planned in Lyon Part-Dieu, Vénissieux, and Saint-Priest. A journey dedicated to thermal and electric traction, punctuated by encounters with TGV, TER, and other historic trains. Part of our journey takes the Lyon-Grenoble line, an electrified line that connects these two major cities in the heart of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Commissioned in the 19th century, it plays an essential role in the transportation of passengers and goods, with a mix of regional trains, high-speed trains, and freight trains. This line also provides an alternative route for certain trains in the event of roadworks or disruptions on the main Paris-Marseille route.
