Hey Silly Geese! I rewatched Inspector Gadget so you don’t have to, and wow… this movie is WAY more unhinged than I remembered. I remembered it as a goofy Disney movie about a lovable robot cop with a bunch of silly gadgets. What I forgot is that it starts with animal cruelty, blows up its main character, performs illegal experimental surgery without anyone's permission, introduces an evil billionaire with a hook hand, and somehow still expects us to believe this is a PG movie. In this video, I break down Inspector Gadget scene by scene, question every baffling decision, count the movie's growing list of crimes, and explain why I'm convinced this should have been rated R.
