Wieso ich anfange, obwohl ich keinen Plan für diesen Garten habe

This garden is more than just a piece of land behind my house. Over the past few years, it has become a reflection of my life. I originally wanted to create a place where my children could grow up surrounded by nature, with soil under their fingernails, vegetables from our own garden, and a place to breathe. But at some point, it all became too much. The garden grew out of control—and in the end, I lost first the garden and then myself. Today, much of it is overgrown. Beneath the grass lie flowerbeds, paths, and ideas that were once important. But perhaps this is precisely the right starting point for something new. In this series, I'm starting over. Without a perfect plan. Without a rushed project. Instead, I want to rediscover the garden step by step—and find out what truly suits me, my family, and our lives. A Man and His Garden is therefore more than just a gardening series. It's also a journey toward greater mindfulness, simplicity, and peace in everyday life. Over the next months and years, I will slowly transform this garden – and perhaps one day a little haven will emerge here that not only benefits us but also brings joy to you as you watch. If you love nature, find garden development fascinating, or are interested in personal transformation, join me on this journey.
