The Whitebeard pirates are his sons and family, and they stayed that way all throughout the great age of piracy up until whitebeard dies at Marineford. Which, of course, happened because Whitebeard tried to save the life of his son and Monkey D Luffy's brother, Portgas D Ace. Portgas Ace was the second division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates and an honored member of the Whitebeard Pirate Crew. It was an emotional time in the series followed by the whole One Piece Post War arc about Ace, Sabo, and Luffy. It was an emotional One Piece Arc, but also kind of fun to see child Luffy as a Kid. So, in an effort to create a fun One Piece What If, I created a Whitebeard video about what would happen if Whitebeard lived and if he wasn't ended by Blackbeard (Marshall D Teach) and the Blackbeard Pirates at the battle of Marineford. If Prime Whitebeard went to Marineford instead. This isn't a One Piece Theory or a most likely prediction of what would happen or be canon, or a Whitebeard Theory. It is just a One Piece funny theory video. Like a fun what if, not a 'most likely' what if :D This isn't the greatest whitebeard analysis ever made or the best whitebeard theory ever in any way, it's just a hypothetical Whitebeard What If. There will never be another Whitebeard, so why not stick with this one a bit longer? There are so many Whitebeard theories in the One Piece community, and plenty of fans who want Whitebeard alive. Although Whitebeard is no longer with us in the One Piece canon, at least we can pretend that Edward Newgate is with us in this One Piece alternate history. So that counts. A One Piece alternate timeline of events is still a timeline of events and that counts :D I guess it wouldn't be too far fetched for there to be multiple One Piece timelines. Because there is a One Piece Multiverse, per the videos Grandline Review (GLR) did covering every version of Zoro and every version of Luffy in the weird and awesome One Piece Universe :D ------------------------------- Written by Eiichiro Oda, One Piece is the story of Monkey D Luffy, future King of the Pirates as he goes on a globe spanning journey across the 4 seas and the Grandline (Grand Line? idk) to find the legendary treasure the One Piece, which holds the prized treasure of the famous original King of the Pirates, Gol D Roger. The journey follows Luffy as he joins the Straw Hat Pirates, Mugiwara, who achieve their personal dreams. Luffy wants to become King of the pirates. His fellow strawhat pirates, including Vinsmoke Sanji, Roronoa Zoro, Usopp, Brooke, Franky, Nico Robin, Tony Tony Chopper, and Jinbei join him. The Straw Hat dreams make for a pirate crew destined for a lot as they fight against the seven warlords of the sea (7 warlords of the sea), the four emperors (4 emperors), the marines (the navy), and the world government (the celestial dragons technically). Now that the gumgum fruit has become the Nika Nika fruit and Luffy can access Gear 5 to become JoyBoy, the Strawhat Pirates are capable of achieving their dreams.
