18-24 Toyota Camry A/C Doesn't Work - Condenser Replacement. Xtool IP616 + Visual Inspection FTW!

Today we have a 24 Toyota Camry that blows hot air from the A/C vents. Before attaching pressure gauges, we scanned the car for faults with our new Xtool IP616 and found a fault code in the HVAC system: B1423. Next, we used the scan tool to create a custom data list and found that the system showed little to no pressure according to the A/C pressure sensor. This indicates that either the system was empty or the sensor was reading inaccurately. Next we performed a visual inspection and found that the driver's side lower corner of the condenser was wet with oil indicating a leaking condenser. We then walk you through the replacement of the condenser assembly. Finally we vacuumed the system and charged it back up with refrigerant. Afterwards we give a mini review of the scan tool and give our thoughts on it. This process should be the same on 2018 Toyota Camry, 2019 Toyota Camry, 2020 Toyota Camry, 2021 Toyota Camry, 2022 Toyota Camry, 2023 Toyota Camry, and 2024 Toyota Camry.
