09-15 Toyota Venza P2716 SLT Solenoid and Harness Replacement

Today we have a 2013 Toyota Venza with the U660 transmission that has a very intermittent check engine light. Last time the light came on was over 3 months ago and it hasn't had a problem since. The code we got at the time was a P2716 pressure control solenoid d. Since it was an electrical fault that wasn't present at the time, we told the customer that the most likely cause was the SLT solenoid and that we would recommend replacing the harness while we were in there. This process isn't all that difficult, but can be aggravating due to transmission fluid constantly dripping on you and undoing the harness connectors can also be a little challenging. This process should be the same on 2009 Toyota Venza, 2010 Toyota Venza, 2011 Toyota Venza, 2012 Toyota Venza, 2013 Toyota Venza, 2014 Toyota Venza, and 2015 Toyota Venza equipped the the 6 speed U660 transmission.
