ROME, JUNE 30 - The Belforte Camorra clan, a partner of the Casalesi clan, has been decapitated for its infiltration of the waste and cement sectors, including in the capital. At dawn, Carabinieri from the Rome NOE (National Emergency Operations Unit) arrested Camillo Belforte, 31, and served the same order on his imprisoned father Domenico. He is charged with mafia-style criminal association. Construction companies, luxury cars, and bank accounts worth €80 million were seized.
