Texas Game Warden Checked EVERYTHING! (Then I Caught A New PB Crappie!)

I headed back to one of my favorite East Texas lakes chasing slab crappie! This lake has produced some giants over the years, and it's one of my honey holes. If you know where it is... you know! 🤫 This was my second trip here this year. I fished it during the spawn, and this time I was looking for those summertime slabs. The morning started off slow while I tested some custom hand-tied jigs a subscriber gave me. We caught a mixed bag of 10", 11", and 12" crappie before the bite finally turned on. Then things got serious... The slabs started biting! We started catching 13", 14", and I even landed my NEW PERSONAL BEST CRAPPIE measuring 15½ inches! 🎣 I also put my new 10-foot ACC Crappie Stix to work. I've always fished 7- and 8-foot rods, so the 10-footer took a little getting used to, but after spending the day with it, I can definitely see why so many people love them. 👉 If you're looking for a great crappie rod, check out ACC Crappie Stix. 🚨 Texas Game Warden Inspection Before the fishing really got going, I got stopped by a Texas Game Warden. It felt like I was getting a Level 1 DOT inspection! 😂 He checked: • My fishing license • My catch • Measured several crappie with his measuring board • Made sure everything was legal Luckily, I had everything in order... I was Ready Freddy! 😎 I planned on leaving around noon, but the fish had other plans. I stayed until 2:00 PM, caught my Texas limit of 25 crappie, and headed home. 🏆 Bonus!At the end of this video, I'll reveal the official weight of the hog from my last hunting video so everyone who entered the giveaway can see the final weight.
