Why the Batwa (pygmies) are not happy with life outside their native habitat
The batwa commonly known as the pygmies are the original habitats of the rain forests mostly in Semliki national park, Kisoro among other areas. But with government effort to conserve the natural forests, these were resettled in settlements. The batwa king and other members say life in the forest was the best as they lived happily unlike in the settlements where their culture has been interrupted by communities living near them.
