The Immaculate Intoxication - DUI Arrest in Belvidere NJ

On October 28, 2023, at approximately 4:00 PM, a concerned citizen reported to the Belvedere, New Jersey Police Department that a woman had struck a fence and appeared to be asleep in her vehicle outside Skoogy Doo’s dog grooming business. The citizen mentioned that upon dropping off his own dog, an employee informed him that the woman had been observed staggering as she left her dog for grooming. Officer Dan Boenig took the report and responded to check on the situation. Upon arrival, as captured in this video, Officer Boenig found the driver passed out behind the wheel of her running vehicle, which was parked against a fence as described. His investigation determined that the woman was intoxicated, despite her denial of alcohol consumption. A search of her vehicle revealed an unsealed alcohol container in her vehicle. The woman was arrested and taken to the police station, where a breath test indicated a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.23%. She was later reunited with her dog and released to a family member. As of the posting date of this video on YouTube, the case remains pending in court.
